Reduced working hours at Dräger ProTech GmbH and Dräger InPlast GmbH
Lübeck, 25 September 2003 – High stock levels and a sharp decline in incoming orders are forcing Dräger ProTech GmbH and Dräger InPlast GmbH to adapt production capacities to reflect the changed situation. In response, the companies are planning to reduce working hours in order to avoid any redundancies.
The companies will be applying to cut working hours in the areas of machining, component assembly, galvanization and plastics production for the period October 2003 to March 2004.
Some 340 employees will be affected.
Management and works council informed the workforce of the planned measures on Thursday, 25 September 2003.
