Fabius measures important basic ventilation parameters: FiO2, minute and tidal volume, airway pressures (Paw, Plateau, Pmax, Pmean, PEEP), and frequency. The data is presented on three different screen pages. The default page displays the airway pressure in a bar graph and also shows the numerical O2 , MV and Pmax values. Alternatively, the pressure curve can be displayed on the second page. Finally, you can adjust all the ventilation parameters on the third page.
If you require more extensive gas monitoring, you can a Fabius with a Vamos, Dräger’s anesthetic gas monitor. This enables you to measure the inspiratory and end-expiratory concentrations of all five volatile anesthetic gases as well as N2O and CO2. Vamos is also available with a pulse oximetry option. In addition, you can also equip Fabius with a specially suitable Gamma XL patient monitor to create a complete anesthesia system. An even higher level of gas and hemodynamic monitoring is provided by the new gas module Scio and the Gamma XL or Delta patient monitor.
